FAQs
Is this the Compton High Class of 1973 reunion?
No. This is a fundraiser hosted by the class of '73 reunion committee. The 40-Year reunion is scheduled on August 17, 2013.
Fundraising for what purpose?
The committee is raising funds for its 40-year reunion which will be held in August 2013. Known for “giving back” to its alma mater, the committee is also raising funds for a gift to the school and for scholarships. Since its 15-year reunion in 1988, the class of 1973 has donated over $20,000 for scholarships, restoration of the landmark Big C mural, and for repairing the carillon chimes in the campus clock tower.
Why December 29th and not New Year's Eve?
Saturday, December 29 is the last Saturday of 2012. This is a great alternative to people who do not like to be out on the streets on New Year's Eve or have made other New Year's Eve plans.
What is the attire?
The attire is 'after-five' in the colors black and/or white.
What time will food be served?
The food will be served around 8:30 pm until it's gone.
Is this an "adults only" event?
Yes.
What are my parking options getting to the event?
Free on-site parking and street parking.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
You cannot bring your own drinks. A no-host bar will be available.
